Corey graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management in 1998. In 2002 he was one of the original founders of G.A. Johnson Construction as a project manager and estimator. In 2007 Corey was promoted to President and oversees the company's operations and remains active in the company's construction activities as a project manager/estimator.
Experienced with providing his clients with projects produced within budget with an excellent track record of being on time, every project is looked at as if they were his own. From educational facilities, medical facilities, government work, restaurant, pre-engineered metal buildings, to residential remodeling, Corey's philosophy has been to treat every client in a professional manner but also in a close friend and family oriented business structure.
Corey is currently active in the AGC, HBA and South Dakota Outdoor Adventure Foundation and is a licensed real estate broker in the State of South Dakota.
Corey enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, and when time permits, has a passion for hunting along with archery, fishing, snowmobiling, racquetball, and occasionally a round of golf.
Jerry spent 26+ years managing a top 500 Architectural, Engineering and Construction firm where he was President and CEO of the construction division. He utilizes the same leadership skills along with his broad understanding of architecture, engineering and construction services. He is experienced in building correctional facilities, schools, hospitals, banks, medical clinics, churches, commercial, and industrial facilities. Jerry excels in conceptual estimating and value engineering which is an asset for achieving the best possible design for the best value product at the lowest possible cost.
Jerry is actively involved with the AGC of South Dakota, having served as President in 2013, as well as several national committees.
Jerry has strong family values and promotes the concept by being a role model for all his employees. Jerry enjoys family events, socializing with friends, hunting, fishing, golfing, playing his guitar and coaching soccer.

Upon earning a Bachelor of Science degree in business economics, Michael wasted no time in starting his own contracting business. Michael specializes in EFIS finishes for commercial and residential projects and builds custom executive homes.
He is an active member of the Sioux Empire Home Builders Association and the AGC of South Dakota. He is a licensed applicator in Sto, Dryvit, Ultra-Tex, and Armourcoat Polished Plaster.
Michael enjoys quality time with his family and enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, trap shooting, and snowmobiling.
Mark has been doing hands on building for over 20 years and continues to produce quality and quantity projects on time and within budget. His years of experience make him excellent in managing multi-million dollar projects as well as small ones. Mark has been with the company since May of 2002. He is responsible as a general overall superintendent for the company's various jobsites, carpenter crews, and the jobsite supervision of subcontractors and material suppliers for all trades.
He is a veteran of the United States Air Force and is currently a volunteer for the Trent Fire Department. He and his wife, Ruth, enjoy hobby farming, gardening, going to auctions, and spending time with their children and grandchildren.
Tim has been working in the construction industry from an early age starting in his father's construction company and progressing to working in several local Architectural firms. He went on to managing the Building Services Group at Poet, where he was responsible for the entire metal building and general construction phases at several new ethanol plant facilities in multiple states. With over 30 years of experience in all facets of building construction from planning, to drafting & design, to estimating, budgeting, scheduling and project management Tim uses his knowledge and experience along with his highly organized and detailed-oriented management style to successfully deliver the highest quality projects. Tim has been involved with a wide variety of types of construction projects ranging from the small to medium to large multi-million dollar commercial and industrial projects utilizing his skills to meet budgets, schedules and value engineering needs.
Tim enjoys working with his hands on his own construction projects around home, motorcycle riding & touring around the country on his Triumph when he can, and watching all forms of automobile and motorcycle racing.
Colette grew up in rural Iowa where her parents farmed and raised livestock. As a child, she loved animals and had pet cats, dogs, horses, cows and calves. She even had a pet pig named Arnold who would follow her around the farm yard when doing chores. She credits having learned a good work ethic from the farm.
She graduated from AIB with an Associate Degree in Accounting and Business Administration and worked several years as an accountant in a CPA office. After getting married and moving to South Dakota with her husband, she has since worked as an accountant in the construction industry.
Colette enjoys spending time with her husband, researching genealogy, traveling, horseback riding, and attending rodeos.
At an early age, Chris knew that construction was a career he wanted to pursue. Growing up on a farm, he helped with constructing barns and doing remodel projects on his parents' home. This furthered his passion of wanting to design and build things.
After graduating from Southeast Technical Institute in 1994 with a degree in Architectural Design and Drafting, he used his skills in many phases of the construction industry which included working as a civil engineering technician, custom home designer, structural drafter, and project manager. His hands-on experience in the construction field has carved him into a professional designer, estimator and project manager. Chris has successfully designed and constructed many remodeling projects, home additions and custom executive homes.
His hobbies include spending time with his wife and kids, watching his kids' sporting and extra-curricular activities, hunting, fishing, working with his dogs, and riding the wind on his motorcycle.
Clarissa spent a majority of her childhood growing up on a farm and in a rural community. She learned the value of teamwork and work ethic in those years through her family. She is the oldest of the four siblings, helping her learn responsibility with many babysitting jobs.
Upon graduation, she moved to Sioux Falls and graduated from Southeast Tech with an AAS degree in Graphic Communications. She has a passion for design and the technical side of any project.
In her spare time Clarissa enjoys being with her husband and two girls, swimming, grilling, hanging out at the lake, drawing (when time allows) and reading.
